Privacy Policy

The short version: Your trips, plans, and preferences are synced securely to your account. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Ever.
What Voya collects
When you create an account, Voya stores the following information securely in the cloud to sync your experience across devices:
- Your email address and display name
- Travel preferences you enter during onboarding (travel style, budget, interests)
- Trips, itineraries, and activities you create
- Destinations you save to your Wishlist
- Packing lists, past visits, and travel documents you add
- Bookings and logistics you add to trips
This data is stored securely using Supabase and is only accessible to you when signed in to your account.
Your account
Voya requires an account to sync your data across devices and enable features like AI itineraries and the concierge. Your email address is stored securely by our authentication provider (Supabase) and is never shared or sold. We do not link your email to any third-party advertising or analytics platform.
What Voya does not do
- Voya does not sell your data to third parties
- Voya does not share your information with advertisers
- Voya does not use advertising or analytics SDKs
- Voya does not track your location in the background
Images
Destination photos are loaded from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com), a public photo library. No personal information is transmitted in these requests.
AI itinerary generation
When you use the AI itinerary feature, your trip details (destination, dates, budget range, interests) are sent to our itinerary generation service to produce a travel plan. No identifying information is included in these requests.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete Account in the app. Account deletion removes all your data from our servers within 7 days. You may also request deletion by emailing us at getvoyapp@gmail.com.
Third-party services
- Supabase — secure cloud storage and authentication
- Anthropic Claude — AI itinerary and concierge features (trip details sent, no personal identifiers)
- Unsplash — destination photography (no personal data transmitted)
